NatGeo has replaced angels with astronauts, dolphins and dinosaurs.

Yes, this is very similar to the recent Axe Angels AR experience - but I think this is very cool way to bring the brand to life for kids and the curious of all ages. And this at least conveys more interactivity than the angels.

Just like the Axe Angels, this NatGeo implementation from Appshaker London doesn't require a mobile phone - just the camera and a screen for passersby to take in the view.

As today's AR goes, this is pretty heavenly - angels or no.
